CCPA (Cottonwood College Prep Academy)

CCPA's hybrid high school model offers students the best of both worlds: the interactive classroom experience combined with online learning. Students will take the Course of Study in a classroom setting while taking Mathematics and World Language using an online platform or concurrently at a local community college. Our approach incorporates Design Thinking, emphasizing the creation and testing of innovative solutions to tackle complex, unfamiliar challenges. Students will actively participate in activities such as prototyping, robotics, Model UN simulations, theater, and video productions.
- Hybrid high school includes in-person instruction in English, Science, Social Science, Video Production, and mandatory online courses in Mathematics and World Language.
- In-person instruction is from 8:30 am to 1:00 pm Monday through Thursday at TCS’s El Dorado Hills location.
- Immunizations are required for students enrolled in CCPA. All students must provide a copy of immunization records. These are the immunization requirements.
- Instructional funds for students enrolled in CCPA are used for in-person instruction Monday through Thursday. CCPA students are not allocated a budget for ordering purposes.
