Cottonwood Virtual Academy - Middle School

The Cottonwood Virtual Academy – Middle School reimagines the home study experience by offering a vibrant community for students in 6th through 8th grades. Our program provides live, virtual instruction in Language Arts and Math, and we are excited to now offer Social Studies and Science classes, as well as flex-based options for these subjects. We prioritize social and emotional growth alongside academic excellence, ensuring students feel supported as they transition into young adulthood through teacher-guided discussions and project-based learning. For families who choose to take all four core subjects within the Academy, students are paired with a dedicated expert teacher to provide consistent, personalized support throughout their journey. This mentorship fosters a sense of agency and a growth mindset, empowering students to take full ownership of their education. By blending structured direct instruction with new flexible pathways, we ensure our middle schoolers are uniquely prepared for high school success.
