Teen Leadership Committee (TLC)

The Teen Leadership Committee is dedicated to establishing a strong teen community at The Cottonwood School by assisting in planning events that create an encouraging and welcoming environment for teens to connect and thrive together. Students join the TLC because they want to:

• Grow in leadership while developing events that serve their peer community
• Learn life-long leadership skills and conflict resolution
• Explore opportunities that build on strengths, and develop areas of personal growth.

TLC members use their unique talents, within a team setting, to build and maintain a thriving teen community at The Cottonwood School. Students must be in 7th-12th grade and commit to:

• Attend monthly meetings (maximum of 2 allowed absences per semester)
• Attend and participate in 3 teen events per semester
